Her major contributions to nursing theory and science are legendary. She will be missed. It was awesome to study Orem from Orem in person when I was a doctoral student at Catholic University. She was a wonderful teacher. Her teaching style was quiet and reflective. She was quite a contrast to some of the other theorists. May she rest in peace.
